How did all start...
Welcome to our website! We are family Mattila and pony trotting is our hobby. All started year 2000 when we bought our first pony, Shetland Electric “Hessu” Herman. At that moment we were already looking for a Gotland Russ but there were no races for them in Finland. But now the things have changed and we have mainly Russ-ponies.
We have bought some Gotland Russ mares from Sweden, first for racing but they have been selected on their pedigree basis. So our aim is to breed good quality, Finnish born trotting ponies. And the circle has closed; mother Erja started her horse hobby with Russ ponies more than 30 years ago.
